ABOUT MYSELF:
Dr. Chuck Chuan NG received his First Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Management and subsequently completed his fast-track Ph.D. in Applied Environmental Sciences both at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. Besides, he was one of the national 2012 Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong's (DYMM SPB-YDPA Malaysian Supreme King) Ph.D. Scholarship awardees.
He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the China-ASEAN College of Marine Sciences, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). With his ultimate interests in diverse fields, Dr. Chuck often serves as an environmental activist and other community development project coordinator cum volunteer. He is a highly motivated person with impressive enthusiasm and strong interest in global development, social welfare and environmental issues.
Due to his outstanding attribution on the environmental development, he was being featured as the Young Person of the Month (January 2015) by Opportunity Desk, bestowed for the Green Pinang Certificate of Appreciation by Penang Green Council (Penang State Government) as well as the Golden Key Asia-Pacific Community Service award by Golden Key International Honour Society and received the national K. Kumarasivam Young Environmentalist prize by Environmental Management and Research Association of Malaysia (ENSEARCH).
On the international scale, this young gentleman also actively involved in numerous activities and programs where he was an active ambassador member of many both local and regional environmental as well as social community organisations. Indeed, he has also represented Malaysia in several global cultural and leadership, environmental as well as scientific study exchange to the United States of America, Germany, South Korea, Japan and many others.MY LIFE PHILOSOPHY:
